Jim Jones of Sussex played in the Land 'O Rivers all-star basketball game and led the National All Stars with 13 points in a losing contest to the American All stars. 25 years ago - March 31, 1985Michelle Prosek is an outstanding Hamilton shot putter. She won the Braveland Conference indoor event with a 36-foot, 5 1/2- inch distance becoming the first girl to win a shot put event for Hamilton. Meanwhile, sophomore Matt Chandler is an outstanding Hamilton boys track hurdler. 10 years ago - March 31, 2000Sheepshead will be offered at the upcoming Lions Daze. February and March were record-setting warm periods for Sussex-Lisbon; March 7 was 81 degrees.
