When he entered Middle School, he joined the school band, and studied the saxophone. In 2000, at the age of 13, Dave was featured on his father's CD, playing saxophone to the Saturday Night Waltz. He has been on stage with his father since then, and also has made appearances with other local bands. David also has learned to play the guitar which he incorporated into this CD along with his keyboard skills. At age 15, David is well on his way to being an extraordinary musician, already having the capability of playing several different instruments, and enjoying several different types of music, as evidenced in his first CD, Polkas With A Punch. " This CD contains nine (9) tunes. Dave Monsen performs the bass, guitar, drum machine, electronic instruments and vocals.
