Lisbon Township Pre-Plat Map 1836???

Added January 10, 2016 by Michael R. Reilly

Editor's Note: This is a very early map excerpt done by Increase Lapham, possible in 1836, BEFORE the John Weaver family arrived or before T.S, Redford staked a claim. Though there is A.A. Redford shown in town of Menomonee Section 31. Did Lapham intentionally only list certain township sections, ignoring others???

Now we know that the Palmer family [ at least one of them] and the Rosebrook family settled in northern Pewaukee township, not Lisbon.

Short Title Milwaukee County with names of land owners
Full Title Milwaukee County with names of land owners / I.A. Lapham.
Map Creator Lapham, Increase Allen, 1811-1875.
Date Original [18--]
Description This undated, hand-colored manuscript map by Increase Lapham shows the town and range system, sections, lakes and streams, and landowners in present-day Milwaukee and Waukesha counties, Wisconsin.
