At the Tuesday night session of the Sussex Teen Club, a former resident of Sussex, William Egerer, was greeted by Virginia Karpinski. Egerer recently donated $5,800 to the teen club. He stated when he was growing up there was a real need for a teen club, but there was none. March 1981, photo: Fred H. Keller

April 1981 Teen Center off to a rousing start as 80 and 100 area youths show up on the Tuesday and Friday evenings that it is open. Game room has eight coin-operated gaming machines, plus four free table games - pool, foosball, air hockey, and bumper pool. Money collected each week, $80-100, from coin/soda machines goes back into the Teen Club coffers. Left to right: Unknown and  Janine Karpinski are shown above.
