Researching Family / Local History

    The Sussex-Lisbon Area Historical Society, Inc. currently has no plans for a research center at its' depot museum. But the Pauline Haass Public Library, through its' Reference Librarian staff,  can provide the inquirer with a wide variety of resources on the histories of the Villages of Sussex and Lannon, and the Town of Lisbon in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. All materials are for reference use only and do not circulate.
    The local history materials are  located in the Pauline Haass Public Library . Appointments are not necessary to view these resources, but please check the library's hours of business . The Pauline Haass Reference Librarian staff will assist you in your research. All of the material must be used in the facility.

Mail Requests and Fees:

Many questions may be answered by Reference Librarians within a short period of time, others may require more extensive research, and may require fees to cover various costs. Always ask the Reference Librarian what costs may be associated with your research question.
