AMES WEAVER:James Weaver aided in building the first schoolhouse in the Town of Lisbon; his home was the first meeting place of the English Episcopal Church prior to the construction of Saint Alban's, now in the Village of Sussex, Lisbon Township, Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
James was the first to introduce hop-growing to the Town of Lisbon and to the entire State of Wisconsin.
