Anderson, Robert W. Of Sussex, March 4, 2007, age 92 years. Also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of LaVern Spry, Myron, Jack and Donald Miedaner, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Brian, Leland K. Formerly of Sussex, WI. Leland K. Brian, age 76, of Lee's Summit, MO, lost his battle with leukemia on April 23, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Frances, of 56 years of Lee's Summit, MO, daughter, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Emerson; son, Timothy (Pauline) Brian of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Angela (Nick) Graan of Seattle and Patrick Brian of Milwaukee; sister, Anna Marie Brian of Kansas City, KS; sister-in-law Betty (Jerry) Heffner; and mother-in-law Margaret Ventimiglia of Kansas City, MO. He was buried with full military honors. Memorial services were held at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Road, Lee's Summit, on Thursday, April 26, 2007, with private family interment the following day. Bscherer, Claude Norman, Of 203 Waterfront Dr., Leesburg, FL, d. Sun., Dec. 26, 1999, age 72 years. Born in Milwaukee, Mr. Bscherer was a retired truck driver who moved from Sussex, WI to Leesburg in 1989. A member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, he was a U.S. Navy Seabee veteran of WW II. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Bscherer of Leesburg; sons, Claude C. Bscherer of Henderson, NV, Curtis C. Bscherer of Menomonee Falls, Roger J. Bscherer of Milwaukee and Richard W. Bscherer of Randolph, WI; daughters, Debra M. Glisczinski of Hubertus and Mary Ellen Bscherer, of Ashippun, WI; 1 sister, Beverly Stoffel of Cedarburg, as well as 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Bullock, N. Robert "Bob" Of Sussex, age 82. Died Thurs., Jan. 18, 2007. Husband of Jeanette (nee Giannetti). Father of Linda (Richard) Harrigan, Dave (Terri) and Rob (Pam). Grandpa of Daniel , Eric and Jenna Harrigan, Joshua, Nicholas, Lindsay, Brittany and Brett Bullock. Great-grandpa of Austin. Brother of Loretta Schomisch, the late Edward, and the late Irene Winters.  Bob graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1953 and retired after many years from Allstate Insurance. Cain, Paul D., age 74 years. of Sussex. d. Sat., Nov. 3, 2001. Husband of the late Nory. Father and friend of Peggy (Bill) Longdin and P.J. (Toots) Cain. Proud "GRPA" of Brett (Kim), Ryan and Matt (fiancee Becky) Longdin and Aaron (Heather) and Lindsey Cain. Great-grandpa of Madisyn Longdin. Brother of Bette Stockinger.  Preceded in death by his brother, Neal and a grandson, Christopher.  Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. He was the founder of Paul's Aervice in Sussex, a former captain with the Sussex Volunteer Fire Department, a Land o' Lakes baseball Hall of Famer, lifetime member of the Sussex VFW, and a WWII Army Veteran.

Brocker, Marilyn (Nee Tellock) Of Fox Lake, formerly of Sussex, age 79. Died Thurs., June 7, 2007. Wife of the late Elroy. Mother of Edward (Belinda), Bonnie (Joseph) Brocker-Beaudry, Beatrice (Kenneth) Patenaude and Andrew (Sandra). Grandma of Donovan and Chelsea Brocker; Christopher Beaudry; Marcus (Tracey), Eric and Matthew Patenaude; Madeline, Andrea, Alexander and Zachariah Brocker. Great-grandmother of Lucas Patenaude and Maverick Gordon. Sister of Edward and Grace. Preceded in death by brothers Charles and Chester, and sister Pearl. Marilyn was an artist at heart, executive director of the Milwaukee Advertising Club, and longtime member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Buege, Wilfred R. "Bill", of Waukesha. Was born on June 18, 1934 in Sussex to Otto and Minnie (nee Metzger). Passed away at home on Thurs. Nov. 7, 2002. Husband of Shirley (nee Brown) for 49 years. Father of William (Wendy), Rodney, Linda Koput, Cynthia (Delbert) Pillsbury, Kathy Webster and George (special friend Julie LeCourt). Grandpa of Eric, Amy, Brandon, Brent, Tracy, Kayla, Kara, Kelsey, Joey, Dylan and Nicole. Great-grandpa of Justin. Brother of Marie Hunkins, Lorraine (Delmar) Berger, Bernice Seiler and Ester Ulrikson.  Preceded in death by his sister Leona, brothers Clarence and Harvey, his stepfather Reinhart and his very special friend Raymond Giese.  Pilgrims Rest Cemetery for interment.

Butler, Robert L., d. at his home on Jan. 10, 2001 at the age of 90 years, same place he was born. Husband of Rescella (nee Gilson) for 56 years. Uncle of Marjorie (Gary) Boe. Friend of Ernst Gastrau. Brother-in-law of Esther Lindly. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park . Bob was a lifelong farmer and resident of Sussex. He followed his father Andrew, and mother, Ida (nee Stone), in ownership of their Good Hope Rd. farm which was established in 1895.

Davey, Richard W., age 56 years. Of Sussex, d. Wed., July 9, 2003. Husband of Karen (nee Dosie). Father of Rick (Michelle), Kim (John) Unger and Tim (Stef). Grandpa of Max "Lil Buddy". Step-grandpa ("Mr. D") of Bridgette. Brother of Gert (Dan) Mayer, Betty (the late Bob) Haralson, John (Bonnie), Howard and Norma Gatzow. Son-in-law of Fred and Evie Dosie. Further survived by his best friend and fishing buddy, Joe Drescher and four legged friend, Rocky, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his brothers, William and Leonard, sisters, Maryann and Edith and his mother, Anna Davey. A Mass at St. James Catholic Church, W220 N6588 Town Line Rd., Menomonee Falls. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield  Richard was a US Marine veteran serving in Vietnam from 1967-68. Dick especially enjoyed boating and fishing with family and friends. He also was an outdoor sports enthusiast having coached football with both sons and fast-pitch softball at Hamilton High School with his daughter.

Dubnicka, Mary Ann (Nee Gundrum) Age 75 years. Died July 4, 2007. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Rudy, and their 7 children, Suzan Felsing, Kathy (Tom) Raddatz, Rudy Jr. (Cindy), Sandra Rose (the late Kevin) Seidl, Scot, Dennis (Cindy) and Al (Vicki). She is further survived by 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers, 4 sisters, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Marie and John, a brother James, and other relatives. Mass  Mon., July 9, at 11AM, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls.  Mary Ann was an excellent homemaker who took pride in her daily chores and loved to sing while she worked. She enjoyed spending time with her family, was active in her faith and had a strong devotion to Mary. For over 25 years, Mary Ann helped run Rudy's Fresh Produce Stand. SCHMIDT & BARTELT A.A. Dunn, Dolores Isabelle, d. May 22, 2003. She would have celebrated her 87th birthday on May 29. Born in North Lake May 29, 1916 to Russell W. Hoffman and Theresa (nee Stapleton). In 1938, she married Joseph J. Dunn from Lake Five. Dolores is survived children: James (fiancee Jacalyn Rux), Jeanne Ann (Jack) Frederickson, Jacqueline (Charles G.) Stevens, Joseph M. (Jean), Julaine (Thomas) Nampel, Jerald, Jill Olson, Kathleen (Robert) Hoff and Patrick. She is further survived by her former daughter-in-law Jennifer Dunn. She is also survived by her brother, William (Sylvia) Hoffman and sister-in-law, Hazel (special friend Rudy Zettinig) Hoffman; brother-in-law, Leroy Gennerman (special friend Betty). She is further survived by 24 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; daughter-in-law, Mary Dunn; brother, Ellwood Hoffman and sisters, Helen Schuhmacher and Jean Gennerman.  Mass at St. Clare's Catholic Church, W314 N7497 Hwy. 83, North Lake with burial to follow at St. Clare's Church Cemetery, North Lake.The Irish poet, Yeats, described her well. "She had an abiding sense of tragedy which sustained her through brief periods of joy". Dolores was loved by all who knew her.

Frantl, Donald F. Age 75 years. Of Watertown, formerly of the Sussex area and Fargo, North Dakota. Saturday October 6, 2007. Husband of Patricia (nee Helman). Step-father of William (Sandy) Zimmerman, Leroy Zimmerman, Brian Zimmerman, Georgeann (Mark) Walecka and the late Raymond Knapp. Grandpa of Melissa, Cassandra, Nicholas and Claire. Brother of Richard (the late Evelyn) Frantl, Allan (Toni) Frantl, Shirley (Tom) Owens, Marilyn (Jim) Pierner, Arlene (Darrell) Wiedmeyer, Gary (Sharon) Frantl, the late Sharon (Wayne) Lublin and the late Joan Frantl.  Preceded in death by his previous wife Violet. Grim, William L. "Bill" Of Sussex. Died on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at the age of 70 years. Husband of Peggy (nee Hunt) for 47 years. Father of Pam (Ken) Laubusch, Terri (Greg) Liebe, Jeff (Michele), and Chris (George). Grandpa of Jamie, Brittany (his "Little Foot"), Trey and Maddie. Great-grandpa of Kaycee. Brother of Mickey Murphy. Further survived by his step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He also served in the United States Navy, Army Reserve and National Guard. Bill was an employee of Super Steel. Hembrook, Marie A., (nee Doerflinger) of the town of Lisbon. d.  on June 8, 2001 at the age of 73 years. Wife of Norbert for 52 years. Mother of Linda (Donald) Zahores, Marie (Joel) Travis, Norbert Jr. (Debra), Edward (Susan) and Judith (Joseph) Maynard. Grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Sister of Joseph (Nina) Doerflinger and Ted (Barbara) Doerflinger.  Mass at St. James Catholic Church, W220 N6588 Town Line Rd, Menomonee Falls. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Hess, Joyce, (Nee Hofmann) of Sussex. Passed away on Jan. 22, 2004. Age 80 years. Wife of 63 years to Gene. Mother of John (Brigitte), Linda (Jack) Noltze, Michael (Barbara), the late Todd, Laurie (Joyce Goebel), Elizabeth (James) Hafemeister and David (Terri). Grandma of Eric (Robin), Brian (Melissa), Amy (Roger) Bates, Chadder Noltze, Christopher (Kim), Nicholas, Jennifer, Rachel Deirdre Hafemeister, Lindsey, Samantha, Joshua and Bowen and great-grandma of Heather, Matthew, Stephanie, Austin, Jamie, Mikalah, Jayden and Evan and special daughter, Carol.

Hill, Daniel C., Age 60 years, of Waukesha, died Wednesday Oct. 10, 2001, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Daniel was born Oct. 31, 1940 in Milwaukee, a son of the late Clarence Hill and Eleanor Franz. He was a member of the Sussex Volunteer Fire Dept. and is a member of Christ the Life Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Daniel was a supervisor at Harley-Davidson and then went to Dueco-Dalum's Utility Equipment Co. Inc. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1959 to 1963. On July 30, 1988 he married Joanne Dunne in Waukesha. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Joyce Champeau and a brother Alan Hill. Sadly missed by his wife: Joanne, his children: Karen (Sam) Josephson, Lt. Timothy (Myrna) Hill-U.S. Navy, Donald J. Bethke, Stepchildren: Jeanine (Gerard) Lee, Janice (James) Stewart, Jack (Zenaida) Dunn, Janelle (Gary) Holehouse, and Jillane (Michael) Mooney. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, his sister: Nancy (Ken) Bales, a niece, a nephew, other relatives and many friends.  Rev. Peter Schmidt will be the officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Wales, WI.

Howard, Vern H.., of Sussex, WI. d. May 24, 2001 at age 68 years. Husband of Doris (nee Hird). Father of George (Jennifer), Glenn (JoAnne), and Grace Howard. Grandfather of Emily Kate. Born and raised a Sussex girl, she was the daughter of Dr. Cornelius Greulich, a village doctor in the first third of the 20th century. The doctor was also one of the original investors in the emerging Mammoth Spring Canning Co. in 1920. Her grandfather, C.B. Buck, Jr. was the Town of Lisbon chairman from 1900 - 1902, and again from 1903 to 1904. Her great-grandfather, Charles B. Buck, Sr., was the Lisbon Town chairman in 1878-79. Her brother Daniel Greulich, was a community fixture in Sussex for years - first an outstanding local baseball player, and then as a practicing attorney in the village. Connie spent most of her childhood in the large doctor's house, just to the north of where the Sussex Citgo filling station now stands. She attended Sussex Main Street School and the two-year Sussex High School, graduating in 1930. She became a registered nurse and left Sussex upon her marriage to the late  Al Kaehny. The couple moved to north Milwaukee. They were married for 63 years.

Waldschmidt, Sherry A., (Nee Selvy),  of Sussex. d. July 19, 2000, age 62 years. Wife of the late Dan. Mother of Cheryl (Jeff) Eckoldt, Dana (Kevin) Berlin and Sara Waldschmidt. Grandmother of Tereasa, Olivia, Dylan, Daniel, Torri and Brandon. Dear sister of June (Bob) Zimonic. Friend of Corinne Stuckrad and Jill Blake.

Willborn, Jack S., d. Feb. 6. 2001, age 67 years, of Germantown, long-time resident of Sussex-Lisbon. Father of Shelly (Gregg) Zetzman, Michael (Lisa) and Mark. Proud grandfather of Austin, Alissa, Tina, Jessica and Timothy. Brother of the late Arthur (Ruth), the late Robert (Marie), Joyce (the late Carl) Starck and Patsy (John) Shull. Further survived by Aunt Ginny (Carl) Kinkel, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park. Jack served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Saratoga and was a member of the American Cribbage Congress. He was part-owner of Willborn Cartage,. He also owned Willborn's Dugout, a nightclub.

Wilson, Jacqueline R. (Nee Adrian) Died Feb. 20, 2007, at the age of 53 years. Wife of Michael Wilson. She is survived by brothers John (Laura) and Michael (Lonnie Nunes), and niece Nicole (Nathaniel Huitt) Adrian. Parents were John and Elizabeth. Longtime resident of Sussex. She loved animals, and always had one of her yellow Labrador Retrievers and a cat by her side. Jackie's warm and generous heart had no limits when it came to people and animals in need. She was a great cook and caregiver to her many patients, she will be missed by all. Wilson, Judithe C. (Nee Johnston) 65 of Lannon found peace Fri., April 6, 2007.  Survived by husband Milton of 31 years; 4 children Larry (Carol) Burt, David Burt, Michael (Mary) Burt and Betsy Burt; 2 stepchildren, Robin and Wren Knight; many grand and great-grandchildren; her twin sister Juliette (Jon) Guth; her sister, Rose Marie "Penny" (Jack) Klumb; and stepfather Thomas A. Pyle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, her special cousin Karen Anderson, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Willard Johnston and Bette Pyle, and her brother Mark Johnston. Judi was the former Wisconsin Square Dance Caller for the Square Wheelers (Wheelchair Square Dancers). She spent hours of enjoyment singing and playing guitar. Judi was also a talented artist in her own right, and shared many of her paintings with family and friends.
