Adomaitis, Gladys E., (Nee Reyer), Age 80 years, of Sussex. Fri., Feb. 1, 2002. Wife of Joseph. Mother of Shelly Adomaitis and Joseph (Dawn) Adomaitis. Sister of Dorothy Harman and Lois (Erv) Sonnenberg. Sister-in-law of Jean Hirsch. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Adomaitis, Joseph S., (Of Sussex) d.  Tues., May 27, 2003, age 82. Preceded in death by his wife, Gladys. Father of Shelly Adomaitis and Joe (Dawn Trimmel) Adomaitis. Brother of Jean Hirsch. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Harmann and Lois (Erv) Sonnenberg. Memorials may be made to Lisbon Presbyterian Church.

Hartman, Robert B., 92, of Colgate, died Feb. 25, 2001 at Community Memorial Hospital, In Menomonee Falls. Hartman served his county during WWII as a soldier in the U. S. Army. He graduated from Marquette University in 1930 and was a life-long member of Christian churches. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian. Funeral services at First Congregational Church.

Horne, Nathan G., Of the town of Lisbon. Born to Eternal Life Sat. April 17, 1999. Age 77 years. Husband of the late Juanita (nee Weber). Father of Duane, Gail (Bill) Cole, Sandra Horne and Jeri (Mike) Henman. Grandfather of James, Heather, Troy, Shannon, Tiffany, Clint and Megan.
Brother of Ida (Leroy) Andersen, Ralph, Stanley (Clara), Homer (Barbara), Wayne (Janis), Elton and David (MaryBeth).  Nathan honorably served his country in the US Army during WWII and worked for many years at the Falk Corp.

Schafer, Esther M., (nee Meissner), d.  December 2, 1999 age 94 years. Wife of the late Willard. Mother of Barbara (Merl) Vollmer and the late Rev. Mark Schafer. Mother-in-law of Gale Schafer. Grandma of 5 and great-grandma of 8. Preceded in death by her 2 brothers Albert and Rueben Meissner and 2 sisters Ruby Dibble and Vieva Culver. Further survived by other relatives, and friends. Esther taught school for 21 years and was a life time member of First Baptist Church. Memorials to First Baptist Church appreciate.

Schmidt, Romaine A., nee Schmies, 62, of West Bend, died on Friday, June 14, 2002, at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls. She was born on Aug. 25, 1939 in Milwaukee to the late Gottfried and Betty Jane (Norgren) Schmies, and married Marvin G. Schmidt on Dec. 8, 1955 in Milwaukee. Following their marriage the couple lived in various cities, coming to West Bend in 1993. Her husband passed away on Sept. 21, 1997. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, West Bend. Survivors include three children, Carrie (Bill) Wall of Slinger, Wendy Luedcke (friend Joe Bertrand) of West Bend and Lorie Weed of West Bend; six grandchildren, Michelle, Ryan and Jaclynn Wall, Michael and Jennifer Luedcke and Rachel Weed; a great-grandson, Jacob; a sister, Donna (Dick) Schwoelger of West Bend; the family pet, "Georgie;" nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
