"Quickly,
bring me a beaker of wine, so I may wet my brain and say something clever."

What you'll find contained on these web pages isn't
the work of a Master
Historian or a Professional Genealogist, but just an average person, that when
an interest arises, gets a itch to find
out more about the subject, and usually ends up scratching/compiling the information and
adding some additional personal insight/comments. This is pretty true of
everything you'll find on my personal website, including this local historical
Society's website which I write for
and maintain.
I worked 36 years for the largest medical manufacturer in the
world performing a wide variety of jobs in engineering and manufacturing until
May 2008, so
unless I'm away vacationing, much of my recreational time is spent being
inquisitive, generally with too many irons in the fire at one time. I hope these
pages will somehow benefit this website's visitors as many have been with other
topics.
